Look, Prince Jing's mom never really seemed that interested in power and the court and being the mother of the Emperor, right? She misses traveling.
So I think someone should write some crackfic where she and the now-Emperor arrange for her to fake her death (or live in seclusion for a while, that's okay too!), so she can travel, and she runs into Mei Changsu / Lin Shu, who also has faked his death, and Hijinks Ensue.
