Gorgeous animation and expensive soundtrack skinned over a complex yet predictable plot. Conflict between rich and poor sides of the river; chonk boi is the one who steals a cupcake on the wing, not the skinny youngest child. Caitlyn's Enforcer uniform is pure Sailor Moon upskirt-and-boobs fanservice. The accents make no sense, they don't map to neighborhood or social class, at least not that I can figure out. Last episode did not stick the landing, unless "on the edge of peace, one tormented teenage waif burns it all down" is considered sticking the landing.
Google indicates that "get Powder / Jinx meds and therapy" is not in the cards, unfortunately. Worth questioning whether Silco meant he'd never turn over his adopted daughter or whether, as he died, he was twisting the knife one last time.
Jayce is boring.
Viktor, Mel Medara, Vi, and Ekko are not boring.
Never played the game, unlikely to start now, because my gameplay stats run toward laughable, but will probably watch the second and third drops when Netflix puts them up. Assuming, with the writer's strike on, they go forward on time.
