I remember Harold and Maude; I think I have the DVD lying around somewhere (?) I liked it as a gloomy teen :D
the image of Harold lying face down "dead" in the swimming pool as his mother swam laps still feels very iconic; like: "the kids are not okay" mixed in with mom: "I'll just let him do his thing I guess; don't understand him anyway"
