This year, sign-ups will be open from September 11th - the 18th, stories due October 24th (calendar).

If you're in a drabble-ish place, it's a low word-count, low pressure challenge. Nominations are open until September 8th; it's okay to nominate (up to eight fandoms, up to eight characters per fandom, very few limits on what fandoms are permissible) while you're deciding.

The challenge comes in when you finish your shortish story and see other awesome prompts you want to treat. :-)
